The PROS
Comparable to much more expensive chairs, actually better in some areas.
Arm compression is very good
Choices of settings is very good
Comfort is very good
Foot massage is good only Ankle/heel area is very uncomfortable
Can’t replace a personal massage therapist but next best thing. Works as advertised. Love all of the pre- Programmed massages and spend at least 40 min a day in the chair.
The Cons
That feature is nice when your arms and hands are being performed and massaged between airbags, and if you pull them out, you won’t get them back in for 15-20 seconds. When it ends the program, it shuts down and doesn’t return you to an upright position.
The voice control doesn’t work well.
Ankle/heel area is very uncomfortable
Calf massage is poor at best if your taller that 6 feet

Final Verdict iRest Review
Customers like the quality and performance of the chair. They mention that it is an excellent massage chair that relieves them of back spasms and that the screen is very intuitive and helpful for seeing the progress and what is being worked on. I searched and found it to do more than any other ones. There were no reviews then, so I choose it based on features and correspondence from the seller with questions I had. I’m satisfied; this chair does everything it says and does some things it doesn’t even speak of. For instance, it will hold your ankles in specific massages, and the floor massager will pull your legs, stretching them out. The customization is at your fingertips, or just let it roll as programmed. The pre-programmed massages are fantastic, and if you need to tweak those in midstream, you can do so to your liking. If the white glove is available, take it or get some help. Customer service was excellent; you get a natural, live person to talk to when you call. If you’re searching, you can go right there. for assistance.
I’ve know a nice massage chair, from getting pedicures and a chiropractor who did an excellent job massaging the spine. It is a pretty good chair in the living room as part of a reasonably modern furniture design. This chair doesn’t blend in with anything. It fits in the corner of a large main bedroom or a workout room. Its single purpose is to massage, and it does an incredible job. I sat in one of these style massage chairs at a Las Vegas convention after walking around for 4 hours. That’s the best pitch, and it was a perfect break for relaxation. I did not want to spend 9-12k on a chair at that time. I set out to find one without the massive markup of the intermediaries. We loved the deep massage and the stretch feature. I felt a chair in Vegas would rip my legs and arms off, which felt great. This chair advertised that feature and delivered. It’s not for an expansive person. They make chairs for comprehensive people, which only fit a group of people. Wide chairs can’t massage skinny or average-sized people. Daily use of at least 30 min a day, sometimes 2 hours a day. It works great. I love all the pre-programmed features and customizations. The touch screen is intuitive and helpful for seeing progress. There are dozens of pre-programmed massages. The scanner at the beginning is crucial and very effective in determining where to begin and end and how to massage your neck and should. I did a lot of research, even looking at used models. The boxes are huge, and you need two people to lift them, and the installation it was really easy to do.
